I saw Dan Deacon tonight at Pier 84. The last time I saw him was in ‘09 when he played on stage simultaneously with Deerhunter and No Age. That show is one of my favorite shows I’ve been to. Anyway, John Maus was one of the openers, and all I can say is that he’s a very interesting performer to say the least. He’s pretty entertaining to watch. Moving on, the thing I love about Dan Deacon is he’s really into audience interaction. We made circles several times, imitated dance moves from a random person in the crowd, ran in circles, ran everywhere basically. I had lots of fun and I swear every time I go to a show it’s completely euphoric for me.
